Refuges in the Sacred Valley

Capilla Lodge, Urubamba

Just outside the town, around 15 minutes away by motorcycle taxi, you will find this small country hotel with a chapel at the entrance. With its adobe buildings and red-tiled roofs, it looks like a little village. This is a lodge with a family-run atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and traditional. The best feature is the view of the garden from the large window with its bright blue frame: guests can spend hours in the gardenā€™s hammocks, surrounded by flowers and hummingbirds, listening to the sounds of nature. The hotel offers guests healthy home cooked meals and can help you choose from a series of half-day or full-day walks, organized directly by the lodge. The Green House, Calca

This luxurious B&B (Bed and Breakfast) has just 4 rooms and is located outside the town. It is situated in the small community of Huaran, around 20 minutes from Pisac. One of the most recommended walks in the area ends at the Arin waterfall, surrounded by nature with no one else around. The houses are built from natural materials and are elegantly decorated with many small details that help create a real connection between visitors and the Sacred Valley. Nunu Boutique Hotel, Lamay



The charm of this hotel lies in the careful decoration of each room, with its many folkloric details, including traditional weavings, cushions and colorful tapestries. The sheets are so soft you wonā€™t want to get out of bed in the mornings. Each room provides the setting for a special journey. Lamay, just 15 minutes from Pisac, is the starting point (or destination) for walks that include a visit to the ruins of Huchuy Qosco.
